Specialty Cards
Specialty cards are those issued by organizations other than the major card brands.

PayPal Cards come in several varieties. Most of their debit and credit cards have the MasterCard logo on it and can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. Some of their newer cards have only the PayPal logo on them. PayPal entered into an agreement with Discover allowing merchants to accept true PayPal branded cards so long as they can accept Discover. We activate PayPal Cards on all of our merchant accounts.

Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) are government benefit cards issued by each state under the federal SNAP program (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program aka food stamps) or state WIC program (Women, Infants & Children). These cards enable cardholders to purchase qualifying products from approved retailers. Retailers must register for a FNS Number (Food & Nutrition Service) with the state or USDA.

JCB Cards are issued in Japan and are used extensively by tourists and business travelers in the US. JCB stands for Japan Credit Bureau. JCB entered into an agreement with Discover allowing all US merchants that can accept Discover Cards to also be able to accept JCB Cards without the need to open a separate account with JCB. We activate JCB Cards on all of our merchant accounts.

Diners Club Cards were one of the first cards ever used in the US back in 1950. Diners Club is now part of Discover but still carries its own brand name. Diners Club Cards can be used at all merchant locations that can accept Discover Cards. We activate Diners Club Cards on all of our merchant accounts.
Fleet Cards
Fleet cards are used by businesses that manage and control the costs associated with operating and maintaining a commercial fleet of vehicles or trucks.

The Voyager Fleet Card operates on its own private network. These cards are not issued by the major card brands. Merchants that sell fuel and / or offer vehicle repair services must request this service before they can be accepted for payment.

The WEX Card is primarily used for fuel. Like the Voyager card, it too operates on its own network. Merchants that sell fuel must request this service before they can be accepted for payment.
